Project description

The third edition of the world tournament was a global celebration of life and an open arena for Parkinson’s fighters. The picturesque Greek island was a perfect relaxing setting for some competitive yet camaraderie-filled table tennis matches! Family members and the general public were also invited to witness the health benefits table tennis can bring to people with Parkinson's, as well as their determination to play table tennis just as good as anyone else, even with the conditions and physical impairments. This was a momentous Championship as it was held in the context of the first World Table Tennis For Health Festival.

We thank the Hellenic Table Tennis Federation for their support in organising the Championships.
