More than two months after the suspension of all ITTF activities due to the Covid-19 pandemic, some countries and regions have shown a decrease in the number of infected people, and governments eased their restrictions. Therefore, ITTF has listed recommendations based on the World Health Organization’s advice to guide and assist all members of the table tennis family to return to an adapted, regular training.

In light of Covid-19, our friends and table tennis lovers from Kenya changed their plans for World Table Tennis Day, but achieved the second goal of their event: Waste Management. They cleaned the environment of Kibera Slums (Nairobi) and managed to sensitise the youth on how to properly wash hands to tackle this crisis.
