In January 2019, the first edition of the table tennis #DreamBuildingFund had been launched and six successful projects from across Africa, Europe, Latin America and North America were selected. As we continue to provide support and guidance, we also hope to highlight their milestones and progress.
The first complete and official year of the ITTF Foundation comes to an end; time to reflect on the inaugural year of the ITTF Foundation. An amazing year has come to an end and we are more than thankful for everything achieved in 2019.
On Friday 13th December, the Municipality of Alkmaar in the Netherlands acknowledged their local sports champions at Podium Victorie during the Huldiging Sportkampioenen 2019. The evening celebrates the success and achievements of local athletes, teams, adapted sports stars and clubs.
We have launched our first ever Donation Campaign in line with the ITTF Star Awards 2019 in Zhengzhou, China. We were not only supported on site by the ITTF but by the President of the Chinese Table Tennis Association Mr. Liu Guoliang in particular, as well as all international winners of the ITTF Star Awards 2019.
One day concluded at the NSDF 2019 ITTF World Junior Championships on 24th November; the focus is very much inside Terminal 21 in Korat, the venue for eight days of action. However most significantly, the host, the Table Tennis Association of Thailand, has been looking beyond the four walls of the splendid venue.
