World Table Tennis Day 2026 Video Editing Competition is Calling for Entries

With more than 1,100 celebrations taking place across the globe, World Table Tennis Day 2026 proved the uniting power of table tennis to erase barriers and bring communities together. This year's theme, Health & Well-being, highlighted how table tennis contributes to physical health, mental well-being, social connection, and active lifestyles for people of all ages and abilities. To capture the inspiring moments shared around the world, the ITTF Foundation is once again inviting talented video creators to participate in the World Table Tennis Day 2026 Video Editing Competition!

This is your opportunity to be rewarded, recognised, and have your work showcased on a global stage. Using highlight footage from WTTD celebrations worldwide, create a compelling video that tells the story of how table tennis brings people together and supports healthier, happier communities.

How to apply for the competition

1. Prepare your video editing portfolio

If you have a video editing portfolio or previous work that demonstrates your talent, prepare a link to include in your application. It can be a single video or a collection of projects. Show us what best represents your creative skills and storytelling ability.

2. Complete the application form

Access the application form for the competition (click here). Fill in all required fields accurately, including your basic information and any additional details requested.

3. Submit by the deadline

All applications must be completed by Sunday, 12 July 2026, 11:59 pm (GMT +02:00).

Competition Process and Prizes

1. First Stage

  • After receiving applications, the ITTF Foundation team will select FIVE outstanding video editors.
  • Each selected applicant will receive a common creative brief and be given three weeks to produce a 2–3 minute video.
  • Upon completion of the first edit, each selected editor will receive 200 EUR.

2. Second Stage

  • From the five selected videos, ONE outstanding video will be chosen for further development based on feedback from the ITTF Foundation team.
  • Upon finalisation of the video, the creator of the selected video will receive an additional 300 EUR.
  • In addition to the cash award, the ITTF Foundation will credit the creator when the video is published for the first time on the ITTF Foundation's social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn.

Important Notes:

  • All submissions must be original works created and edited by the applicants.
  • Only one entry per participant is allowed.
  • Applicants must agree to the terms and conditions outlined for the competition.
