World Table Tennis Day 2026 Promoters Unveiled!

The ITTF Foundation is thrilled and overjoyed to reveal the World Table Tennis Day (WTTD) 2026 Promoters! This year’s inspiring group includes 34 Promoters from 24 countries and territories. Each Promoter brings passion, creativity, and a strong commitment to community development and Health & Well-Being, while also celebrating 100 Years of Table Tennis. Together, they are ready to champion the power of table tennis to unite people and support physical, mental, and social wellness for people of all ages and backgrounds on 23 April 2026.

Sixth batch of the WTTD Promoters initiative

Since 2021, the WTTD Promoters initiative has been an important part of the annual celebration, integrating sustainable development and community projects with the festivities of World Table Tennis Day. Over the years, more than 150 Promoters from over 55 countries and territories have positively impacted their communities through table tennis events, creating meaningful opportunities for connection and movement.

This year, the initiative once again received strong global interest. With 131 applications from 64 different regions, we saw the growing momentum behind World Table Tennis Day and the shared belief in table tennis as a tool for positive change. The 2026 line-up includes both returning Promoters with strong plans for their events and new faces bringing fresh inspiration and creativity to the global movement.

The selected Promoters represent a wide range of cultural, social, and professional backgrounds, reflecting the universal appeal of table tennis. The 2026 batch is comprised of 18 female and 14 male Promoters, all ready to bring people together and promote Health & Well-Being regardless of gender identity, ability, or circumstance.

Empowering Promoters for global impact

With the support of the ITTF Foundation, the 34 Promoters will be equipped with the tools and resources needed to implement community development and health-promotion activities in their WTTD events. This includes financial assistance, capacity-building resources, and personalised guidance to align their initiatives with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the theme of Health & Well-Being.
