TT Dream Building Becomes TT4Change: A Clearer Name for the Same Mission

The ITTF Foundation has always believed in the power of table tennis to bring people together around one table and to create positive social change.  Through the Foundation’s TT Dream Building programme and Dream Building Fund projects over the years, women and girls in Iran have been empowered, people facing substance abuse have been supported in Nepal, and education and gender equality have been promoted in rural villages in India, among many other initiatives. Across continents and communities, table tennis has proven to be a powerful tool for inclusion, empowerment, and the building of a more sustainable society.

As we step into a new year, a new chapter begins for one of the Foundation’s programmes. As our global work continues to grow, clarity in how we communicate our programmes becomes increasingly essential. For this reason, we are proud to announce that the TT Dream Building programme is being renamed and rebranded as TT4Change!

This new name reflects not a change in purpose, but a clearer expression of what this important programme has always stood for: supporting and collaborating with community-led projects worldwide that use table tennis as a tool for sustainable development and positive social impact.

Why TT4Change?

The ITTF Foundation’s programme framework is built around three pillars: TT4All, TT4Health, and now TT4Change. Aligning the programme names strengthens the Foundation’s identity and makes it clearer and easier for communities, partners, and supporters to understand how our work fits together.

While the name TT Dream Building captured inspiration and ambition, it did not always clearly convey the programme’s core focus: “creating meaningful change.” By contrast, TT4Change communicates this purpose immediately. At a glance, it reflects what the programme is dedicated to and highlights action, impact, and the values that sit at the heart of the programme.

Same Mission, Stronger Clarity

While the name has changed, the Foundation’s commitment has not.

The Dream Building Fund, now becoming the TT4Change Fund, continues under the TT4Change umbrella and will keep supporting selected organisations to deliver impactful community projects around the world. Existing and past projects remain an integral part of the programme’s legacy, and ongoing initiatives will continue without interruption.

The values that have guided the programme from the beginning - trust in local leadership, community cohesion, and the belief that sport can empower and change lives - remain unchanged. TT4Change is not a new programme. It is a clearer, more accessible way to describe work that has been happening for years.

A Unified Framework for Social Impact

Together with TT4All and TT4Health, TT4Change completes a cohesive framework for the ITTF Foundation's work on social impact through table tennis. Each programme plays a distinct role while sharing the same belief: table tennis can be a force for good.
With TT4Change, the ITTF Foundation is taking an important step towards clearer communication, stronger alignment, and deeper engagement with the communities we serve.

As the programme moves forward under its new name, this new chapter begins with 5 ongoing TT4Change projects and 6 newly selected projects yet to be launched. Through these initiatives, we will continue to support inspiring community-led work and to share stories of how table tennis inspires, empowers, and creates meaningful change from the ground up.
