#TableTennisUnited, the fundraising campaign powered by the ITTF Foundation and sponsored by ITTF and WTT, has extended its support to the city of Mohyliv-Podilskyi, ensuring the training opportunity for the people affected by the current warfare.

Located at the Ukrainian border, Mohyliv-Podilskyi witnessed the view of Ukrainians fleeing their nation in search of a safe place to stay. The invasion devastated countless lives and damaged homes, businesses, and other essential infrastructure. Before the outbreak of the war, the Ministry of Sports planned to renew the sports facilities of the municipality of Mohyliv-Podilskyi.

It was no longer feasible because the money was channelled to defend their nation. The residents of Mohyliv-Podilskyi sought other alternative ways to gain support for renovating the training facilities and equipment. They persisted by contacting several sports federations before finally connecting with the ITTF Foundation. Their efforts paid off.

ITTF Foundation, supported by ITTF and WTT, has extended its support to reactivate the table tennis training in Mohyliv-Podilskyi. Last month, the first shipment of table tennis equipment comprising rackets, balls, shirts, netting, and many other items arrived. People of Mohyliv-Podilskyi can resume their table tennis training now to ease their mental burden caused by the war.

The ITTF Foundation calls out to all ITTF Member Associations and the worldwide table tennis community to stand in solidarity with those affected by past and current warfare. You can support us by clicking on the button below.
