Our first Donation Campaign has been launched at the ITTF Star Awards
Today we are more than happy to have launched our first ever Donation Campaign in line with the ITTF Star Awards 2019 in Zhengzhou, China. We were not only supported on site by the International Table Tennis Federation - especially through CEO Mr. Steve Dainton and President Mr. Thomas Weikert - but by the President of the Chinese Table Tennis Association (CTTA) Mr. Liu Guoliang in particular, as well as all international winners of the ITTF Star Awards 2019.
It has been a very exciting day for the ITTF Foundation, because the kind support of the CTTA enables us to foster joint projects in the actual mother country of table tennis in line with our vision "Solidarity through Table Tennis".
From this day, everyone, everywhere can directly support our cause through our Donation website in a mere moment. We firmly believe that table tennis is an opportunity to bring people together, focusing on different kinds of people in terms of gender, culture, social and physical status as well as on the inclusion of minority groups such as refugees and people with special needs.
Right now, we are seeking funds for several new Dream Building projects in Africa and Asia, such as Slum Ping Pong in Uganda which aims to break the cycle of poverty by providing children living in slums with financial support to attend school and gain an education.
Every donor can decide, whether to help a specific project, contribute to one of their six programmes or by making a general donation to support the development of our programmes and projects around the world.
Your generous donation will contribute to our project partners which support some of the most disadvantaged and vulnerable groups worldwide. All private donations to the us will go directly to our operations and partners on the ground.
