Since 2019, the DBF programme has been supporting community-based projects that use table tennis as a tool for positive social change. Every two years, the ITTF Foundation selects and works with changemakers from around the world who are passionate about empowering communities and tackling pressing societal challenges through table tennis. Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs), these initiatives showcase how sport can drive impactful solutions.

Over the past five years, we have supported 36 projects and organisations worldwide. Each DBF project has created lasting impacts, fostering sustainable change in areas such as health, education, gender equality, and social inclusion. Together, the DBF’s collective journey has produced incredible stories and legacies. These stories, from the lives touched to the lessons learned, are invaluable treasures not only to us but also to the global Sport for Development community. Now, with the new DBF Instagram account, we want to share these untold stories, unseen smiles, and unsung moments with you!
