5 new Dream Building Fund projects gearing up to embark on their journeys!

The ITTF Foundation's Dream Building Fund (DBF), powered by The Foundation for Global Sports Development (GSD), as reported earlier has embarked on the next cycle with 5 new projects!

A transformative Table Tennis For Development workshop was conducted to begin the journey. From thereon the ITTF Foundation team, drawing from past successes and guided by the Logic Model, has meticulously co-designed a Theory of Change with each project. This collaboration ensures a solid framework and clear goals for their initiatives.

In a comprehensive approach, budget reviews were conducted to optimise resource allocation, and a second workshop was held to initiate robust Monitoring and Evaluation practices as well as set the expectations on what is needed to measure impact continuously, and what local challenges we might have to face during the 2-to-3-year support cycle. Our commitment to empowering these projects is further bolstered by our partnership with Double Happiness (DHS), who will provide essential table tennis equipment to four of the projects, ensuring they have the tools needed to succeed.

As we move forward, the focus shifts to establishing baseline research for each project that will help us measure the profound impact of these interventions periodically. By understanding how these initiatives benefit individuals, communities, and institutions, we are laying the groundwork for lasting, positive change. We invite you to follow The Dream Building Fund as it is not just about playing table tennis; it's about transforming lives and fostering development through the power of sport.

The 5 projects selected are based in Bulgaria, India, Malawi, Palestine and Somalia. Click here to read more about the new Dream Building Fund cycle.
